PROJECT: Concept Design, In-Game Cinematics and Fatalities Animations

We were thrilled to collaborate again with NetherRealm Studios to produce over 100 minutes of in-engine story mode cinematics for their revered Mortal Kombat franchise. Commencing with story development (traditional storyboards and later, 3D previs) and motion capture post-production, we then handled final animation and layout through Unreal Engine integration.

Our animation team also helped produce many of the game’s signature Fatality animations as well as Kronika’s Ladder Ending, taking the awesomely-gruesome sequences through final animation and layout, including simulations and environment destruction.
